  1. Buy from a licensed insurer or authorised insurance channel.
  2. Confirm that the policy details match your vehicle.
  3. Verify the policy through NAICOM's policy portal and/or the Nigerian Insurance Industry Database.
  4. Keep your policy current and know how to contact the insurer after a crash.

Depends on vehicle class and cover. Confirm the current premium with a licensed insurer.
